great performance today. Difficult circumstances, tough opposition and konate milner Keita all not really featured much this season, up against son and Kane, fully rested. 
 

Some really good balls and once he found his feet, looked comfortable.

He's ready to start, but he needs to be alongside Henderson and Fabinho. He was playing with 2 team mates who hadn't started or played 90 minutes in quite some time.

Yeah, way too much pressure on him with Milner and Keita alongside him. Felt sorry for him. Keita was no help to him whatsoever. 

Hopefully he gets chances with Hendo and Fabinho with him so he gets more support, verbally as well as positional.

He needs a stone of muscle and needs to be able to break into a discernible sprint.  He can be as tidy as he likes, but physically he’s really got to step up.

It’s something you have to accept with young players, they’re not gonna be as good as the players they replace. 
 

We pretty much had no choice but to play him today and we found what we all probably suspected - that he isn’t up to the physicality of PL games where you get no time on the ball. Yet. 

A year on loan next year where he’ll play loads will do him the world of good. As will bulking up - but that’ll come with time.
