Gethin
Barnsey_10's post here I think has an uploaded picture in it. In Firefox (94.0.2) it displays as a link, which comes up as a "broken" link when you click it. In Chrome (96.0.4664.55) it displays properly as an embedded image. MacOS 12.0.1 if that's relevant. Any ideas? No big deal, just thought I'd mention it as a behaviour difference between browsers
Nathan Explosion
It's not an uploaded pic. It's a picture hosted on Facebook, which has then been added to the post as a link. And therefore it is most likely this setting being turned on in your browser:
Barnesy_10
yeah I linked directly from Facebook.... my usual method of hosting via photobucket has been put an end to it since they now charge.. Couldn't see a way of hosting via google drive.

It's not directly because of that setting - I have Enhanced Tracking turned off for YNWA 'cos it stops other stuff loading. It's more likely cos I use an extension called "Facebook Container" in Firefox which silos FB and Instagram and stops the cookies tracking you - this pic not loading is a side effect of that I think I hadn't twigged Barnsey_10's pic was an FB link as opposed to a direct upload to the site, so sorry about that
