Charity donation idea needed

I'm on the look-out for something worthwhile to donate some money to as a Christmas gift - I'm open to suggestions, but probably something to help people in need - in the North West, the UK generally or overseas (rather than medical research or animals) e.g. refugees, refuges, homelessness, food banks

ideally, I want something where the recipient gets some tangible feedback from the end beneficiary (or the organisation) like a letter or photo, maybe even something they get a few times across a year - so something to make the recipient feel valued over a period of time, rather than just be opening an envelope on Christmas Day that says "thanks for donating £"

I'm looking for something maybe around £50-£100 but I'm open to suggestions
