Have city got any injuries? I know Stones is likely to be out. I thought Laporte was out for a couple of weeks, but saw he played last night?

Not feeling positive about the game, but thankful its at Anfield.

Trent out is a huge blow, just hope it was Jurgen playing mind games.

edit: Just seen that Gundogan and Zinchenko are their only injury issues?

Oh yeah, you've jogged my memory, Pep said Laporte & Stones were out for 2 weeks before their league cup game last week. What a liar.

They will be coming for a draw and hoping to nick a win. We can blow them away.

I don't think that's how Pep ticks. He goes for the win, and is not afraid to lose.

Draws kill league title chances.

We'll see. I don't think it will be like that. More like the one where they nearly won it with the last minute pen but Mahrez missed. They were negative as anything that day, it was around the same point of the season I think.

Must be in a minority in thinking having a more defensively minded RB for this isn't the end of the world. Grealish isolating Trent 1v1 would worry me more than Milner I think.

True.

Having these games early does tend to encourage a draw as teams just don't want to lose. The fact they beat Chelsea away already gives them breathing space.

I also think it's unlikely a team goes back to back away wins vs Chelsea and Liverpool in the context of chasing a title against both.

I think we win Saturday.

Hopefully we win Sunday too 😉

PMS'ing hard here. City loosing to PSG is just gonna make them more up for this one. This is gonna be a real indicator of where we are at the moment. It's gonna be like this: We are going full strength bar Milner for Trent and I do think Jones will keep his place. I do wonder if we should go Bobby from the start.

Good point 😁

I've just made this weekend a 6 pointer! 😂 That would be lovely

I think Gomez at right back would be a good idea vs Grealish. That floppy haired trickster skinned Trent in the drubbing by Villa.

I'm not having Joe at RB at all.

Me neither. He does not have the attacking output required, I'd have Milner until his legs fall off and then bring Joe on to protect our 3-0 lead.

They were hardly going to be cruising into it after their recent results anyway, lets be honest.

Milner is going to kick Grealish to kingdom come.

He'll give away endless free kicks if he does, Grealish is very good at winning them

Hopefully, Milner kicks him so hard Grealish will not want to keep the ball for long for fear of getting kicked again.
