Murphman Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 The best was scored by Barca, maybe Yeboah number 2?
Barnesy_10 Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Erik Edmans goal at Anfield was pretty good, though he had all the time in the world to take it. Think we were all in shock at it in the paddock

Which is the correct answer. Yeboah is the expected vote. Does it gain extra kudos for going in off the bar though? If it didn't would it be just like a Jagielka or Wanyama?

I was at the game and watched the Kop rise as one to applaud sheer brilliance. Yeboah's strike was brilliant but I'd accept arguments as to whether it was in second place, although hitting the underside made it more spectacular, sure. I was there when Vardy scored at Leicester too which was really annoying but also fantastic. Don't think it would have gone in without that twot Mignolet in goal though
Bailo Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Would have Bale's in the CL final is up there 1 1
Cobs Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 what an annoying thread - best goal v us was this c*nts
stressederic Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Justin Fashanu worth a shout for a podium spot?

Cobs Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 in terms of ones i was at (sat on the North Bank ) - probably this

The correct answer. Sadly, I don't think that response would happen today. Certainly not at any other club and probably not even at ours.

Neither really true now.
Stevie H Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Crespo's nonchalant outside of the foot dink from Kaka's surgical through ball in 2005. 3

Different times and all that, but still not good.
Nebraska Red Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 I recall Steptoe scoring an outstanding goal against us at Leicester.
Hassony Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Messi's free kick to make it 3-0 was pretty good, but I'd go with what Murph said as the top 2 Vardy scored a belter against us few years back, but that doesn't really count as it was against Mignolet 1

When Owen scored we stifled our celebrations best we could but two kind Arsenal fans in front of us smoking a big joint turned round to us and put their fingers to their lips? 1
kop205 Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 I'm going with the Overmars goal being a bit over-hyped by the way. The midfield they passed their way through was by that point Gerrard, Murphy and Berger.
Ibby Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 (edited) Amir Zaki bicycle kick at the kop end for Wigan Edited September 17, 2021 by Ibby
