Trying to decide what this may mean in the grand scheme of things. We’ve got a good record with him reffing us at anfield I think. He will be under instruction to not give any rugby tackles as fouls to keep the Klopp narrative going. But actually are we going to be the ones dishing it out this time? Might work in our favour.

Imagine we've got a good record at home with pretty much all refs haven't we? I just can't f***ing stand him. He's had some shockers reffing us. Remember the Lallana handball against Wolves at Anfield in 2019. Jesus.

If we have 45% possession we’re less likely to score than if we have 55% so not really. I think Burnley were able to transition fairly easily at times in the first half because we turned it over a bit too easily and Norwich were a bit similar. But they didn’t punish us cos they’re both a bit crap, which Chelsea aren’t.

Personally, I’d rather we were better at keeping the ball against a really good attacking side, and reckon Firmino would do that better because if they have the opportunity to counter like Burnley and Norwich did, I’d expect us to get beat. 

Also wouldn’t shock me if we were to play both of them and Firmino cuts off everything Jorginho does all game.

We’ve got a nice few problems really for this match. Should be boss. I’m even looking forward to seeing whether the European champions are much cop before we inevitably blow them away.
