Would rather this than West Brom @ Anfield. They're a mad side and anything can happen in this one but if we don't take our chances we'll be in the s***.

Yeah more confident of getting chances against them than some other sides lower in the table.

Hopefully we remember what to do with them.

They're a lot, lot better at the back than when we played them first game. Maybe lost a little dynamism up front but they're a better suited team now to the PL.

There's not many teams I'd less like to play right now.

I'm glad Cooper is out again. Weird how he didn't play at Anfield either. I'm also hoping Raphinha doesn't make it as he's been superb this season.

Yeah could be mental. They battered us even with all our defenders.

They really didn't. They had 3 - maybe 4 - shots and scored 3 goals.

It was their first game and they were better than expected, but we were good value for our win

And inevitably, the referee is none other than Wythenshawe’s finest.

Lee Mason’s rehabilitation continues with the subs board and Deano on VAR makes it a festival of the baldies

I'm sure the potentially soon-to-be-redundant referee, linesmen and VAR official will be fair to us tonight. Yep, definitely can't see any bias being shown against one of the big 6 splitters.

Yeah this is a f***ing write-off this c***

Pure hahaha super league you’re having a laugh when we are four nil down vibes

Lovely opportunity to add to Arsenal drawing with Fulham, Real Madrid drawing with Getafe and Juve losing to Atalanta this weekend.

Great preparation all this guff.

Doesn't matter. We're in Europe for ever now.

Not enough thought has been given to Everton in all this. Will their financiers still think that half a billion in concrete poured into Bramley Moore dock is a good investment ?

I haven't watched any game in a couple of months (I can highly recommend that by the way).  But I might watch tonight just to boo.

Out of interest, would people be opposed to this if we have a life time guaranteed entry to the CL?

I would. No one should be guaranteed entry to a tournament without doing anything. Even teams like us could potentially be relegated in the league.
