Microsoft Office free alternatives

Any tips on this stuff? I've used WPS/Kingsoft but found it a bit frustrating. Any decent free alternatives to the MS Office suite? 

 

Edit - I'm thinking of trying Libre out so would especially appreciate knowing about anyone's experience of that. Thanks.
