The shorter the joke the funnier it is, fact. Not a bad rule of thumb that. Tommy Cooper was the master. So here's a thread dedicated to it, the joke can't be more than two sentences. Every week we can see who puts up the best joke and I will put a prize up to the winner.

Last night a man was shot with a starting pistol.

The police think it may be race related.
