right then - who's available to play?

i've got a tight groin but i'm gonna be working on it between now and Sunday before a late fitness test.

Sky Sports apparently.

Play eleven semi-fit footballers, try to kick the round thing in to the netted thing, don't let Brewster score (unless it's a 90th minute consolation), don't get any more injuries.

Confident on playing eleven semi-fit players but not so confident on the rest.

So psyched for this. We might have actual center halves playing in the defense.

Well, we've got one, we can put someone next to him who'd write 'Centre back' on a form.

Back in training tomorrow. Would be surprised if they rushed him given we've got Chelsea on Thursday then Fulham Sunday and then Leipzig on the Wednesday. 4 games in that short period feels one too many.

Would rather Davies personally. If he's crap at least we find out, whereas we know Phillips is.

His new haircut will improve him by 25% atleast

Is Ali definitely out?

If McBurnie plays then they launch it at his head. Phillips loves heading footballs. Horses for courses?

We'll get a team at some point who realises that to expose a player you don't just kick the ball in the general direction of him. West Ham were hilariously bad at it on both occasions, especially the one a few weeks ago where they had the choice of Antonio trying to win aerial duels against Henderson or Phillips and for some mad reason Antonio kept pulling on to Phillips.

If Sharp and McGoldrick start and they keep the ball on the ground, that isn't really something Phillips is gonna want at the other end of the scale to McBurnie starting. You saw it for the penalty against Everton.

the other point against Phillips is McBurnie is bloody rubbish and if Kabak/Davies can't deal with him we have big problems for the rest of the season,

Another one of those teams who are crap but we always seem to struggle against, and then eventually beat. Which, this season, usually means we are going to lose.

Yeah this thought has been running through my head on and off all week 😒

Yeah, McGoldrick is a weird player, he's awful at a lot of stuff (finishing, making space in the box) but he's so good at pressing and finding space to link midfield to attack that he's just the kind of s***e player that could cause us problems by exposing an immobile guy and dragging him out of position.

I hate that we're worrying about the league's misfits having a good day against us again.

FFS - can't believe that they are making us play again

Yeah the sun is shining why spoil the vibe watching us struggle to break down their back 10.

Yeah - we all know what a short corner in the 94th minute looks like, we don't have to see it again
