Molby Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Seems like nobody gives a f*** CL knockout stages and no thread until the morning of the game? this is where we are at boys
RedHarvest Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Smash these and Everton and it's back ON!!!
Falconhoof Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Its a welcome distraction from all the 2nd rate English teams lining up to beat us. Get Henderson back in midfield.
LicK Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 I just don't want to see us doing the same things that haven't worked for the last few weeks. Change it up a bit. Henderson in midfield. 2 up front. Harvey Elliott disguised as Diogo Jota on the wing. Anything to avoid the deadening sense of deja vu.

Jarg Armani Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Be nice to beat these. I didn't think much of them v United and we have played pretty well for the last 4 games on the quiet.
kop205 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 I had a dream last night we win the CL this year
Ombudsam Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Can’t believe they’re still making us play games.

United beat them 5-0 and then somehow managed to turn up there with one of the single worst tactical approaches ever seen. It’s one of the weaker seasons of Champions League so get through here and you never know what can happen.
RedHarvest Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Winning the CL would be an acceptable consolation after f***ing up our title defence I suppose
PaulMcC186 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 I think they're a bit s***e at the back. They get away with it in Germany cos that league is awful. They conceded 12 in the group stage.

See if they have a City style wobble in a one off game.
PaulMcC186 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Atletico are a good price to win it at 16/1.
Swipe Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 It's surely Kabak and Hendo at the back again. Can't see Klopp bringing back Williams after weeks of being nowhere near the team.
PaulMcC186 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 The short podcast on Leipzig origins on Anfield Wrap is decent.
Dominus Maximus Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Is Nat registered? They have Poulsen up front. He’s like the hardest working striker out there. This will be a tough one.

I’d say he’s like Firmino in how he creates space for his mates, but the difference is that Firmino does it with skill and grace, while Poulsen is more of a grafter. Imagine having a taller Mascherano leading the line. He also really strong with his head so that’s something to be concerned about too. This guy might actually be a decent punt for Bobby’s future replacement if we go with inside forwards again for the next generation.
Hassony Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 The way they defend and play should suit us, more than playing against someone like Atletico Madrid play like we did against Atlanta away and we will win comfortably, play like we did against Atlanta at home and we might struggle

Mutley Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Who we playing in midfield then, Thiago, Jones, Ox?
Begbie Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Thetes no real team decisions to be made is there? Same team as Saturday but with Thiago starting
