So am I now that have read that Paul Merson has said he is s***e. Compares him unfavourably to the 'young lad' at Preston who is 5 years older than him.

Prior to that I wouldn't have been bothered if we was actually just a robot who maimed Pickford, Richarlison and a couple of others that we input into his programming and then self-destructed.

I like Merson's argument that we shouldn't buy players who are used to losing, that would basically rule out buying from 99.9% of the club in world football

I just read an article where it said he’s s*** and has been handed a rating of 4.75 ( top score 1 and bottom score is 6) as an average for the season by Kicker magazine

Another ref behind VAR would have called that offside, the idea that these are factual decisions and handled consistently is a nonsense. If you showed all the VAR calls made this season to a ref who hadn't seen them then his calls would be totally different to what has been given

Not alot of blame on him  for that defeat. Failure of all 11 as a unit to react to a really dodgy VAR decision, then abject failures by our keeper and our goal scorer.
