charlie clown Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Thinking of getting a drone with a camera - mainly because I think it would be really useful to inspect my roof etc. - it might save me a small fortune in getting builders etc. to come out and inspect jobs for quotations etc. Anybody got one or used one etc.? I just know next to nothing about them so looking for any advice.... I think I'm right in saying that you don't need a permit for one if it is only for limited, localised use below a certain height - is that right? And camera-wise do you have control over where it focuses etc. or is it just a matter of get the highest resolution camera available and get the drone to hover where you want and hope that it picks up on what you need it to see?
