Crystal Palace vs Liverpool, Sat 19 Dec 2020, 12.30pm, Premier League

Hate to do this so soon as I'm still buzzing to f*** after Spurs, but you have to put that behind you & move on; winning mentality: Champions mentality.

We all love 12.30s. We hate going away & despite a recent excellent record at Palace always dread going there.

8 days off after this - till the 27th - so let's batter them & walk on - to the title

I do wonder if he might change a few. We're due a mad December team.

I’m sort of torn between that and the bit where we’ve got four league games between now and January 19th.

I know, me too. Can't figure out which way he'll go.

I had Nat Phillips in my head to start this vs Benteke but that's out the window now

Probably be Rhys and let Matip have another week off. We need to manage him the rest of the season.

Unless we sign a CB in 14 days time...

RedRay's lad is on his day job just now (trying to get @Swipesome transfer news)......give it until after lunch and we'll have some idea of the team for Saturday.

Same team as last night, go full strength (give Matip a few extra days rest), give them a few days off before Fat Sam (who will be desperate to avenge his anti-football mate Mourinho).

Matip and Neco are about the only changes he can realistically make unless he does something mad and start Origi and Minamino.

However, Neco up against Zaha would worry me.

Did OK against Traore the other day. We tend to get other players to sit a bit more defensively than usual to protect the younger defenders when they're playing anyway.

8 day rest after this one. I can see them being cautious with players who've had injuries like TAA and Matip - but other than that crack on with the bulk of the team from last night I reckon. Hope we're able to give Ox some time from the bench.

Palace played last night as well so there's none of the usual "freshness" advantage that a team that isn't in Europe usually has when we play midweek

Don't really want to see Origi or Minamino starting a league anytime soon really.

Yeah - have to remember that Jones is a kid, however comfortable he looks, he's not used to this.

Traore is out of form this, Zaha is playing well and miles better than Traore

Wish we had Milner fit to play against him...

I think it’ll be the same team unless Matip is fit, 8 days off after this and hardly like Palace are going to be intense given they’ve also played Sunday and Wednesday.

I reckon he'll change it. Naby, Neco and Takumi maybe.

Be good when Milner and Shaq get back.
