If Matip isnt fit and if we play like yesterday I cant see it, a couple of big if's though

But if we play like our last home games in the league, 3-0 v Leicester and 4-0 v Wolves.

Yep, we've been mostly great both a home and in the 'bigger' games. Doesn't guarantee more of the same on Wednesday but there are plenty of reasons to not be have a whinge two days before the match.

Let them be s***ting themselves about us.

Mourinho lives for games like these. They'll be well drilled. Hitting us on the flanks if we over commit.

Not confident. Hope i'm wrong.

team selection should be easy, are you fit? Yes? You are playing.

Yeah, pretty much has to be the team that started against Fulham - with something done about Matip if he can't play. That XI's gonna have to play collectively much better

Had a weird feeling ahead of Fulham. I'm confident about this one. Under the lights, fans in. We don't normally have two s*** performances in a row.

Think he said Matip would be fine yesterday. Usually means he'll be back sometime in June.

This might be madness but if Matip is fit I'd consider pairing him with Williams or Phillips so we can get Fabinho back into midfield. I think a lot of our problems in recent games have come from not having an adequate shield in front of the back 4.

A midfield of Fabinho, Gini, and Henderson provides that protection and also frees up Gini and Henderson to get up and done the pitch more.

Harry Kane and Son v Phillips is a big old no from me.

Yeah there in lies the flaw with the plan. Question as to whether you can cut the supply to them with a better midfield though.

Mourinho will play for the draw, don't think they will be as adventurous as Fulham were yesterday

He may well set up for the draw but they’re so threatening on the break and not sure our makeshift defence will be able to stop them for the entire game. They’re pretty solid in midfield too and we’re likely to be weak/fatigued in there as well. It doesn’t bode well so we’re gonna have to dig in and turn it on for this. Come on red men!!

Go as strong as we can, would like to see Fabinho back in midfield but it would be a huge gamble on Klopp's part if he plays Phillips at centre back. Mourinho will be his usual self, keep it tight, either wait for a mistake on our part or hit us on the counter.
