Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Joint 1st vs joint 1st, top scorers in the league vs tightest defence in the league. Can see this being 0-0 - for god's sakes don't concede first
cocknose Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Can see some sad faces at 10.30pm Wednesday, got a baaaaddd feeling about it

Expand Yep, we've been mostly great both a home and in the 'bigger' games. Doesn't guarantee more of the same on Wednesday but there are plenty of reasons to not be have a whinge two days before the match. Let them be s***ting themselves about us.
Nate. Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Mourinho lives for games like these. They'll be well drilled. Hitting us on the flanks if we over commit. Not confident. Hope i'm wrong.
Cunny Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 team selection should be easy, are you fit? Yes? You are playing.

Swipe Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Had a weird feeling ahead of Fulham. I'm confident about this one. Under the lights, fans in. We don't normally have two s*** performances in a row.
Earl Hafler Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 We need to keep the ball better and hopefully the ref isn't a Kane lover. That little leap he does after a goal. f*** off.

Rusty Shackleford Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 (edited) I can’t wait for the fume an hour before kickoff when Nat Phillips has been given the nod. Edited December 14, 2020 by Rusty Shackleford
mofus77 Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 On Amazon in the UK so better chance of decent commentary.
stressederic Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 This might be madness but if Matip is fit I'd consider pairing him with Williams or Phillips so we can get Fabinho back into midfield. I think a lot of our problems in recent games have come from not having an adequate shield in front of the back 4. A midfield of Fabinho, Gini, and Henderson provides that protection and also frees up Gini and Henderson to get up and done the pitch more.

D.Boon Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Couple of Ibuprofen and a big dollop of voltarol always got my creaky back through the big games. Sort it Joel.

Alonso Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 He may well set up for the draw but they’re so threatening on the break and not sure our makeshift defence will be able to stop them for the entire game. They’re pretty solid in midfield too and we’re likely to be weak/fatigued in there as well. It doesn’t bode well so we’re gonna have to dig in and turn it on for this. Come on red men!!
Jim D Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Go as strong as we can, would like to see Fabinho back in midfield but it would be a huge gamble on Klopp's part if he plays Phillips at centre back. Mourinho will be his usual self, keep it tight, either wait for a mistake on our part or hit us on the counter.
Earl Hafler Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 We miss Virgil's passing range and his threat from set pieces This could be a real struggle on Wednesday
Cam Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Need to use the advantage of having (some) fans in the ground while we can.
