should be a simple one this.

I have a list of staff & their dept/role.

I want to make a grid - dept & name so like a pivot but with text. 

A pivot would be easy if I just wanted to know #of people in each dept but I want to know the names not number

So - Dept across the top & below that the names. In a pivot I can do it but all in one column - stacked. But it's easier on the eye to have say 7 depts across the top & the 5-15 staff below each
