I’d be surprised if Jota doesn’t start.

Yeah, crazy to play an out of form Firmino ahead of an inform Jota

I reckon he’ll play Jota. I think it’s overthinking it to suggest otherwise and it will feel extremely obvious once the team comes out

Klopp is loyal but not so much that he leaves out a player in red hot form for the toughest match of the season.

He might pick Jota and nobody would be unhappy if he did, but it’s hardly overthinking things to suggest Klopp goes back to a player he’s always trusted for big games.

Does have a feeling of Jota getting in and just not being shifted atm though.

Yep Jota to start defo. THe fact he took hom off after 55 mins would indicate that also.

The question is whether Thiago or Keita comes back in. Can't see Jones starting this one.

A win here would be absolutely massive. Really killing off our main rival's momentum before it ever got going.

f***ing hate playing these.

I kinda like our recurring "score 3 goals in the first half and see it out from there" strategy against them.

I reckon guardiola will go defensive on this one though and look to score on the break. They've been more cautious since they got mullered by Leicester and are looking a lot more solid since. And pep fears our forward line more than any other in football.

First goal wins this one I reckon.

Yeah I’m hoping this has all been ultra caution to make sure Thiago plays this game.

As Kid Klopp said, winning this would feel massive even so early in.

He'd just taken a kick hadn't he. Don't think it was serious but then again Virg walked off unaided
