CB is the only area of concern. Normally you'd probably go one of Matip / Gomez with one of Van Den Berg / Phillips / Koumetio but with Matip out and Gomez doubtful then either Fab or VVD will have to play which isn't ideal.

Don’t think I’d want to see that. I know it’s only Lincoln but there’s no future for Milner as a CB

Wouldn't shock me if it was Milner, Jones, Keita in midfield and then no Keita on Monday if Gomez is back fit.

Tried to see who we played in the Villa game but even those options are depleted.

Against Villa we played --> Hoever VD-Berg Boyes Gallacher

Boyes and Gallacher are on loan at the moment so that rules Boyes out as CB cover.

Williams, Savage and Clayton have played in the last few U23 games, they are either 19 or 20

Given the lack of centre backs I took that as meaning Van Dijk might be involved.
