Squad players you'd like to have back

We'd all be love to see Gerrard, Sami and Suarez turn it out for us again if they could somehow be de-aged back to their prime.

But what about the ones who may have been getting games enough but weren't necessarily the first name on the team sheet and never really hit heights big enough to cement them as stars for us.

Me, I'd love to see Craig Bellamy in a Klopp team. I think he'd be ace as the first forward off the bench.

And vegard heggem. He was too ahead of his time.

Good point actually, although he'd still be a perma-crock.

Agree with your Bellamy shout, but he was player of the season for us and surely picked himself most of the time when he was fresh ?

Was he? He spent one season with us, rotating a lot with Crouch, Kuyt and even Fowler when he joined. Was an unused sub in the CL final. Then shipped out. I don't think he ever really cemented his spot with us.

Googling a bit, I see that he rejoined us under Kenny. I have completely blanked this out. I am reading about it now, but I have no recollection of this ever happening. Him and suarez actually played together?

Was man of the match in a League Cup Semi against City.

Nigel de Jong scored the first goal for them. As he lined the shot up from about 40 yards I remarked 'Let him shoot, it's only De Jong'.

1.5 seconds later, 1-0 City.

You must have felt like quite De Mon... quite the silly billy.

This is very confusing to me. Why did he leave the second time around?

Who else used to play for us that I don't know about?

I think it had something to do with his mental state after Gary Speed's suicide and him wanting to be back in Cardiff.

Didn't he slip as he hit it and that gave it the extra elevation to hit the top corner?

Danny Ings would be a good one and as already mentioned, Bellamy.
I would have loved Crouch to stay. Suso in hindsight.
Anelka and Litmamen from Houlliers time. Riedle going back further.
