If fans are allowed back in October, say at 20/30% levels, will you go the game if you are chosen?

I don't think I will due to I don't think you can maintain social distancing on the rows, stairwells or in the concourses.

Also, it will be a terrible experience even at 50% full.

I’d go. It’s probably no more risky than shopping or using public transport.

It's massively more risky unless mask wearing is enforced. People singing and shouting will be spreading droplets everywhere, you'll be in range of hundreds, possibly thousands of people who may or may not be carrying it.

Wonder if there’ll be more testing or things like it. Been in pubs and and restaurants that take your temperature before you enter. Obviously that’s not a cert as some people are asymptomatic but they might have a few things like that.

Mrs m was at the dentist yesterday who took her temperature before she went in with a forehead scanner thing. It was 32c, seems a bit low.

I had to do it the other week in a restaurant and the panic it invokes is very real. Like what would you even do if 45c just started flashing on the screen accompanied with a loud gong.

What would you do? Probably writhe around on the ground in agony before dying very quickly afterwards

You might, G. I'd just roll with the punches. Take it in my stride. Tell them a seat outside is probably for the best.

They should purposefully only give tickets to people who are too cool to sing.

The ground would just be full of people saying 'told you so' and tutting.

I'd be happy to in terms of social distancing, the virus, PPE etc.  It wouldn't particularly bother me.  I believe I'd feel okay in the stadium, probably walking up through the cemetery & Stanley Park car park, get there a few minutes early to avoid the queue at the turnstile.  It would only be the packed Anfield Road end as I left, really.  Avoidable by waiting and if only 20 or 30 per cent capacity then maybe not an issue.

But despite what missing this title win has done to my mental health I think I'd rather the space went to someone who would create more atmosphere than I would.

(only if I could opt back in later in the season for the title-clinching game and trophy-lifting like a proper glory-hunter)

What if they could shine a very bright light inside the body ?

Id imagine mask wearing will be the starting point. Wouldn’t be surprised to see temperature tests on entry. Would only really work if it was one of those automated systems.

Surrey CCC trial of c-19 safe crowds to be extended.

They've been practising safe social distancing at County Cricket for 150 years

I’d go. My worry - or comment - would be even if the stadium is only 30% capacity, everyone who isn’t going to the match could just go to the pubs around the ground again couldn’t they? Maybe not all 70% of them but a load would. I dunno. Everyone did that the other night and it seemed fine ish, so maybe nobody would be bothered.
