I was thinking the other day about how crowds are going to come back in to footy and the knock on effect of this.

I was also thinking that this may be the impetus the bigger clubs need to try to protect future revenue and introduce virtual season tickets and stream all the games rather than have a massive telly deal.

How do we reckon they'll get people back in? Limited season tickets next year?

Do we think this is the beginning of the end for the massive telly deals? Is it possible to do this now?

Limited fans back in to start. But they’ll attempt to speed up full attendance as much as possible. Too much money involved.

tv deals will still be massive, particularly from abroad, but expecting a small drop compared to last agreement

American sports are looking at having clusters of people from the same household seated together so I guess you could have a half decent crowd inside the stadium, especially with 1m social distancing. Getting people in and out would be the headache though

I don't think we should be looking to the US for best practise on anything related to Coronavirus.

I think it’ll be back to normal within 6 months.

Maybe me just being overly optimistic though!

Middle of winter so doubt it. Next spring at the earliest?

Missing it like mad.

There’s a load of clubs that will go under if crowds aren’t allowed back in for the start of next season.

I just had a look at Belarus’s stats (where they kept playing with crowds For some time after when everyone else stopped) & they have had 392 deaths in total.

I know this isn’t exactly empirical evidence, but still.

Isn't it literally empirical evidence
