Why don’t we combine our twin fondnesses for reading and receiving presents through the post by creating the YNWA Book Club?

the premise is self explanatory but we can add value by writing inscriptions

they could be things like “to my esteemed friend. I hope you enjoy this book”

or

”I think you’re a blert; but here is a book”

either way, one can build up a commemorative collection of signed books  that will be treasured forever!

and of course this enterprise cuts down on consumption and is environmentally sound 

One of the inspirations for this idea is when we were talking about books a few years ago (possibly in the book thread) and I expressed an interest in one and John (KAMF) sent me his copy through the post 

and it was inscribed!
