I'd be astonished if we aren't declared champions. But it would be really s*** and this is all genuinely wrecking my head now. I both need a break from it whilst simultaneously potentially having loads of my time on my hands to think about it. It isn't good.

I think we’ll get it. It won’t be fun and it’s a real shame but at least we’ll have the monkey off our back. I couldn’t care less about people saying we didn’t really win it, everyone knows we did.

That Kev used to do, under a false name, about a gypsy curse on Anfield to stop us winning the league?

Yeah which is pretty s***. Even if we get it, even if we play the games and win it, it's not going to feel the same.

I'm still desperate for it mind.

I think it will be a bit tainted unless the season fully resumes and plays out, which looks unlikely

The bright side I’ve decided to look on is that we and the players will still be hungry for a ‘proper’ league win whenever the next season starts. Ravenous. Instead of a bit complacent.

I’ve always had this weird thing of what it would be like after we’ve won the first title in terms of motivation, would football feel like it would have purpose, would the second one be as good.

Didn't expect this as a potential solution.

I agree. I’m not jibbing it anymore. Not this time.

I wonder what will happen next year. Got to be a war surely.

I dunno - if this was abandoned I'd have to think long and hard whether I could continue putting myself through it

I’m at the same crossroads. Been a supporter for about 50 years and it’s not the same anymore with all the player diving and insane cost to watch and travel.

I think I'd give it up if it's cancelled and we don't get it. I mean seriously. f*** that.

We'd never ever win it again while i'm alive if that happened.I don't think it will, I should add, but if that's not a sign that I should f*** it off and take up hockey or something then I don't know what is.

Im not normally one for paying too much attention to other teams fans opinions but if we didn't get it their hilarious songs at every game would give me an aneurysm.

I'm not sure how the players could start again. The way they reacted to last season was astonishing. Feels like its asking too much for to start again after this.

On talksport (I know) they were saying almost guaranteed that UEFA is moving euros till next year (have a source who said UEFA cancelled 60 hotel rooms in Scotland for their members when I game was scheduled for Hampden).  This will then enable the european leagues and cups to finish.

Also saying will cost hundreds of millions to void the season rather than finish it when things improve

Aye.

Total abandonment makes no sense when pretty much every club accepts that we deserve it and we've basically already won it
