Viewing posts whilst not signed in

Swear you didn't used to be able to view post content if you weren't logged in - you could see the forums and the thread names but no content if you went into a thread

1) Am I imagining that

2) If not, is it a deliberate change?

I just haven't reinstalled the plug-in that handled it...I will at some point, once I have updated it for this version of the software (maybe), but until then guests can read the forum.
