magneto Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 My team for Sunday: AdrianWilliams Lovren Matip LarouciChirivella Lallana JonesElliott Origi Takumi
McBain Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Minamino got an injury last night so it may be someone else.
psl Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 (edited) I think Fabinho will play. Be nice if Shaqiri could be fit for a cup tie. Edited January 24, 2020 by psl
Mutley Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Come on Salop , you can smash these redmem. Oh hang on, wrong forum.... Come on redmem, you can smash these inbred sheep botherers. Salop will play the usual 5 at the back, with three decent centre halves Limited prowess going forward, Shrewsbury lost their most potent attacking threat in Ryan Giles who has just returned to wolves from his loan spell. Shaun Whalley is the danger man, a fellow red, who'll who give Larouci, if he plays a good run. Shrewsbury will keep it tight and they'll be playing for a draw. 2-0 to the reds
Cam Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Lovren isn't going to play in such an obvious B side. He will extend his injury/illness by a week. Play Shaqiri if fit. Play Minamino if fit. Play Fabinho for part, either an hour from the start or the last half hour. Start AOC again (needs to get mileage under his belt and better in these games than crucial League ones).
Conrad Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Fabinho has looked understandably rusty and needs minutes. he should play. so should Ox.
PhilM Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Is Lovren even fit? I just sort of naturally assume that he isn't. I reckon we go Shaqiri, Lallana, Jones in midfield.

I thought he really settled us last night, I know it was part of an overall formation change, but their pressure largely ended at that point.

Mainly thanks to Henderson.

psl Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 (edited) Arsenal or Bournemouth too. Macca saying the last 16 will look like this and then listing 15 teams. Are his posts being tampered with for comedic effect again? Edited January 24, 2020 by psl
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 ah yeah, Monday games. Probably Arsenal

I’m bang up for the cup now. 9 points in the 3 league games since Everton and City dropping 2 at home to Palace has definitely given us leeway to try and do something incredible in the cups.
