Is something really special, unique even.

 

It's not just that it has the best centreback the league has known and maybe the best defender in the world since Baresi. Or that we have a keeper, right back, left back and centreback who are all basically the best in the world in their positions.

 

The do everything. They are as comfortable sitting back to protect a lead as they are defending with everyone bar Allison pushed into the opponent's half. Ridiculous pace, a keeper who is the best in the world at covering the gap behind the defence and at 1on1s. Best defence in the world.

 

And on top of that, it is most technically gifted and attacking back five in the world as well. Fullbacks, obviously, but vab dijk does his and Gomez and Alisson are more than comfortable on the ball.
