Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Just want each game to come straightaway now. Let's batter these please - City play Palace on Sat at home so that's 3 in the bag for themThey also have the Cup replay midweek, which is nice
stressederic Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Get Fabinho back in the midfield alongside Henderson and Gini and then smash them. I'd like to see some of their players cry.
Hightown Phil Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Not sure we need to rush Fabinho to be honest. Next two games I think we're ok to maybe give him some minutes off the bench and then get him involved at Bristol City and look to get him up to proper speed in time for the Atletico Madrid game.
£440,000 Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 The only team in the division we haven't beaten in the last year. Time to put that right!
Cobs Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Need to be beating these. Can’t be winning the League in this manner and not having pumped them at least once

I don't lnow if those few sloppy moments early on were tiredness or not. Gini sure as hell didn't look tired late in the fame, he was immense

Hendo, Gini and Lallana all in excellent form and should start
Jarg Armani Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 I thought Henderson was a bit iffy first half, started looking forward to fab coming straight back in. He bossed it after the first 20 mins anyway.
Nebraska Red Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Aye. Hendo, Gini and Lallana all in excellent form and should startAgreed, but on a careful watch. First sign of tiredness, mental or physical ,and we bring on subs. Rewatching the game from yesterday, almost all of Spurs forays forward came from a lapse in concentration in our middle third. Ideally, we are 3 up and bring on Elliott for the last 15-20.

Also, there's a moment when Gini loses possession but there are few options available and we've two players behind him - we were impatient and some players got forward like we were chasing a goal. Mourinho's tactics were to defend in numbers, conserve energy and press when we began to tire; Ox was poor and Lallana made a difference
Dan Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Wouldn't surprise me if these c**** took points off us. Hope we f***ing destroy them.

He bossed it after the first 20 mins anyway. At one point I was wondering if they had a plan for Henderson as he was looking like some of his bad old self. I waited for someone else to make the point though as I’m a s***house.

Rory Fitzgerald Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 The state of that Sky promo for the game next week - they've dubbed it The Perch War - its cringeworthy.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Nah. Nah,you're winding us up Rory You cant imagine how unbelievably bad it is. They've even reminded people that a "Perch" is something that a bird sits on but is also a kind of fish. You'll get to see lots of the promo during the week.
growler Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Can’t believe we have to wait a week. We’ve got to smash these. By the time we play them most of the players would’ve have long breaks with only one game.
Ombudsam Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 If we can win these next two league games...
honourablegeorge Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Need to be beating these. Can’t be winning the League in this manner and not having pumped them at least onceAm already irritated enough about the drawn game
psl Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 If we can win these next two league games...Yes. Keep saying it but Spurs away and the next 2, in January. Get through them and it will feel like the mountain has nearly been scaled.
