Game on the early KO which is a pain in the a*** for most.

 

Win: We win the group

Draw: We qualify. Finish 1st if Napoli draw or lose to Genk, finish 2nd if tNapoli win

Lose: Too many beers down to work it out. Most likely to finish 3rd and go into the Europa if this happens

 

Matip and Fabinho out, got to think Lovren is doubtful after coming off today.

They’re at home and they need to win.

 

I wonder what the first 20mins looks like.

 

We played a very neutral 20mins against City when we lost 2-1 at the Etihad. Given how we are playing I think we go out and play a game that doesn’t allow them any easy possession.

 

It could be that we await to see how high they play on the ball if we drop deep (ie where high do FBs and CBs).

 

I think the team will go out and make Salzburg earn every yard on the pitch, they won’t let them come on.

 

Balls in their court, they need to win. And they are playing the best team in Europe. I don’t see us going out wondering what they’ll do and adjust.

 

I’d say there are many more questions on their side on how to approach it.

Mane back and Salah looking better.

 

Think we’ve prepared well for this over the last two games.

 

Just need to pick them off.

 

Can’t even think about being knocked out of the CL. It’d be hideous.

We should have battered them at Anfield really. Just got a little casual. A professional and clinical performance should finish this lot off.

Gomez really struggled in the home leg against them

 

At RB - he'll be CB for this.

 

Remember for 60 mins of this game at Anfield we blew them apart. 15 or so mad minutes made it look closer than it should have been

If we can't survive a game against a team from a Cheese league who's best player is a tap in merchant who thinks he's Zlatan then we deserve to be in the Europa League
