Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Let's batter these 1-0 I'd change a few things - look at Trent & Robbo for potential rest time, get Keita starting, have one of Brewster or Elliott on the bench. Likely no Mo

dorgie Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Is right. AlissonGomez Matip Lovren MilnerAOC Lallana KeitaOrigi Plus two others, obvs. had we not lost to Napoli, he might make several changes, but too risky away from home when a win is a must. Keita and Milner may come in but that might it.
Swipe Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Yeah we need to win this. It’s not a league cup game.
Cam Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 I get that, I really do. But if that nine can't be part of an XI that can beat Genk then they really shouldn't be here.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted October 20, 2019 Author Posted October 20, 2019 not saying wholesale changes & bringing in the kids. Use the squad intelligently. I can't see Mo traveling so it'll be Divock, Bobby & Mane most likely
Gunga Din Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 get them beat. then beat them in the return and its just about job done.
growler Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 It’s away - will be strong line up I think. Keita should be good for a start. Milner too. Brewster should get some time in I would think.

Brewster should get some time in I would think.Brewster playing based on what? He can't even make the bench. There will be no more than 2 or 3 changes. We need to win.
New York Red Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Any form on these? I can’t recall them being in the Champions League before.
Maldini Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Any form on these? I can’t recall them being in the Champions League before. They drew with Napoli
épieur Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Make sure Gomez, AOC, Lallana, Milner and Keita get starts. Work out the rest from there.
Conrad Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 (edited) Brewster should get some time in I would think.why do you think that? Edited October 21, 2019 by Conrad
Rusty Shackleford Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 If we don’t win this then qualification is uncertain. Even if we do Genk at home, drop points here we have two really difficult games.
Earl Hafler Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 had we not lost to Napoli, he might make several changes, but too risky away from home when a win is a must. Keita and Milner may come in but that might it.However, it's the ideal game to improve form of some squad players.it's competitive, we need points.. I'd start Keita, Lallana, Ox and Origi. Rest Bobby, drop Hendo
McBain Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 4231 Same back five. Wijnaldum and Keita. Ox, Bobby, Sadio, Div (else Salah)
Begbie Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 I'd rest one of the full backs, probably Robbo for Milner. Otherwise Gomez for Matip and play Keita and Ox for Gini and Hendo
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted October 21, 2019 Author Posted October 21, 2019 They drew with Napoli and lost 6-2 to RBS So who really knows? On paper it's not a strong league
McBain Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 and lost 6-2 to RBS So who really knows? On paper it's not a strong leagueThey drew with Santander and beat Halifax though
honourablegeorge Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 I get that, I really do. But if that nine can't be part of an XI that can beat Genk then they really shouldn't be here. A few of them shouldn't be. They drew with Napoli Yeah - not to be treated like mugs. We blew our opportunity to rest players for CL games with that Napoli performance. And can't rely on beating Red Bull easily either.
Hassony Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Is right. AlissonGomez Matip Lovren MilnerAOC Lallana KeitaOrigi Plus two others, obvs.Mad, we lost to red star last season with a better team
Ombudsam Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 They drew with NapoliSo we’ll lose 2-0 then.
Ombudsam Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 and lost 6-2 to RBS So who really knows? On paper it's not a strong leagueAhh so we’ll beat them 10-5
Bootle Buck Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Time to start trusting in the likes of Ox, Naby, Lallana and Milner to start more games and give the likes of Gini, Hendo and Fab a break.
