magneto Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 They destroyed Genk 6 - 2 in the first round of fixtures. A win here is a must considering what happened in Naples. I do however see some changes, across the back 4 (perhaps Gomez back), midfield (Ox to start) and even upfront (Origi in). Must win.
Bootle Buck Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Talk of their on form striker Haaland posibly missing the game due to illness https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/red-bull-salzburg-erling-haaland-17002296
Dan Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I know they battered Genk but are they any good?
Hassony Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 They might give us or Napoli a game at home, I can't see them living with us at anfield though 4-0, Mane, Bobby, Salah 2
Gethin Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 They might give us or Napoli a game at home, I can't see them living with us at anfield though 4-0, Mane, Bobby, Salah 2 That's our scapegoat sorted if we lose

Big Red Machine Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 I'd say Milner, Gomez and Ox start this Wouldn't be surprised if Origi did either
Conrad Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 I don't see Origi starting in a "must win" and nor should he.all our games are must win though - leicester on saturday is going to be tough
Red2Core Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 I don't see Origi starting in a "must win" and nor should he.f*** him how dare he start against barca that time
McBain Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 f*** him how dare he start against barca that time I think the point is still valid. Origi doesn't start that without injuries. He won't start tonight unless Klopps goes 4231, which is unlikely. In general he's a much better sub than starter

Rest them when you're 3 up. Origi will have a vital role to play. Selection for the Barca game totally irrelevant.
honourablegeorge Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Mane rather firmly putting the "feud" with Salah to bed in the press conference.
Gethin Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Matip out injured, Gomez back at CB. Isn't it nice to have the depth that we can think of something like this as unfortunate for the player but the team won't be affected that much
Stanley Leisure Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Mane rather firmly putting the "feud" with Salah to bed in the press conference. He seems like such a nice fella.
Red Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 He seems like such a nice fella. Much more confident too, was even given a chance to hear the question in French at one point but was happy to stick with English. "Liverpool is all about the team" made me smile too.
muleskinner Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 I'm slightly apprehensive about this after reading about their MO and philosophy. Impressive sounding club (if you can divorce the red bull part)
cocknose Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Keita & Gomez in for Henderson & Matip.Hunch or fact?
Rex Ham Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 I'm slightly apprehensive about this after reading about their MO and philosophy. Impressive sounding club (if you can divorce the red bull part) Me too. Got goals written all over it, and the way we've been squandering chances lately...
Maharajkumar of Vizianagram Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 I'm slightly apprehensive about this after reading about their MO and philosophy. Impressive sounding club (if you can divorce the red bull part) They really do sound like they're very good at finding players in Zambia!
McBain Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 If they were any good they wouldn't be playing in Austria
