Gethin Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Friday afternoon and no Chelsea thread? Huge game Sunday and the only really big game of the weekend. Really surprised if the team isn't as full strength as possible and we then change most of them for MK on Tuesday AdrianUsual back 4Fab, Gini, HendoUsual Front 3
stressederic Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 I hope Chelsea go with the back 3 system they've been using recently.
Conrad Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Think the only possible debate is Henderson or oxlade I presume the former but he played midweek so maybe ox comes in
Hightown Phil Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Think the only possible debate is Henderson or oxlade I presume the former but he played midweek so maybe ox comes in Didn't play last weekend though.
Hassony Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Think it's going to be hendo, Gini and fab Would be surprised at anything else
Bootle Buck Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Think it's going to be hendo, Gini and fab Would be surprised at anything elseTotally agree. I think this is our best starting midfield. I don't think the Ox or Milner have shown enough this season to start ahead of those three.
Bogman Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 (Hopefully) I think we're winning this. 0-2.
Gethin Posted September 20, 2019 Author Posted September 20, 2019 Think Ox gets a full game against MK and Milner will play LB in that
Jarg Armani Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Easiest game all season to call the 11Adrian Trent matip vvd robbo Fab hendo gini front 3?
Gethin Posted September 20, 2019 Author Posted September 20, 2019 When does my darling Joey G get a game Tuesday

Hightown Phil Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Haha. Not sure it'll be as young as people think cos the U21's are playing the same night. You're probably looking at maybe Hoever and if Origi isn't avaliable they might do something with Curtis Jones. Be surprised if there's anyone past that. Would expect something like Adrian (I'd go Kelleher myself but I doubt he will), Hoever, Gomez, Lovren, Milner, Lallana, Keita, Chamberlain, Shaqiri, Jones, Brewster. Can't believe there's a youth game the same night though, absolutely daft.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Doubtful Keïta (hip), Origi (ankle)Injured Alisson (calf, Oct), Clyne (knee, Jan)
honourablegeorge Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Suggestion on twitter that TAA and Marip might miss this
Alonso Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Suggestion on twitter that TAA and Marip might miss thisLovren and Gomez then or Milner at right back and Gomez cb
Earl Hafler Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 1 win in 12 away to the other top sides.
quibs Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Be more worried is Hazard was there. Thank feck his gone.
Molby Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 1 win in 12 away to the other top sides. When the dust settles there are two important issues: (and some others) 1 can Man City cope with their CB problems? Well I wouldn’t say they answered that question yesterday but nevertheless, winning 8-0 was quite a good thing to do 2 can we improve against the top sides away? Sadly, the flat track bullying which we needed to do in previous years when our record vs the top teams was better and are now doing, isn’t enough due to the strange times we’re living in. Which means we could do with putting a marker down today. n.b I don’t like markers. I don’t like marker talk. But there’s never been a better day for it than today Win today and City’s shoulders will slump ( feck off Pep)
