I've forgiven him for leaving Liverpool as he had carried us for all while with little reward or recognition. I've forgiven him for joining Newcastle because he's explained it all quite well several times. I've forgiven him for joining the Mancs because why the hell wouldn't a player join the best team in the league. But he can shut up now; no-one wants to hear from an unloved journeyman. Even Steve Claridge is still appreciated by some of his clubs.

I bought a Liverpool shirt signed by the whole squad back in 2001ish, when I got it framed the bloke told me that it was worth at least £500 purely for the Michael Owen signature.

i think someone bought me his 1st autobio for a Christmas some years back and it was pretty dull - I don't remember there being a second one.

Yep. He writes in it that he can’t understand Liverpool fans’ dislike of him and particularly the vitriol he gets on social media. I get the impression he thinks the silent majority actually like him. He’s thick, basically.
