Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Got to pick ourselves up after that, can't just give in now. At least go top till Monday & make City work for it, you never know it may be the bounce we need for Tuesday.
Redray Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Had a dream we lost to a late goal against Newcastle and then Leicester beat City 2-1. Nightmares stuff. Felt so real, except for the fact that Messi scored for Newcastle. So this means it ON. ..
psl Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 (edited) Huge ask for our players. St James on a Sat night will be bang up for it, Rafa will have a plan to frustrate and our players will be knackered and very possibly dispirited. Just have to keep going. Can't make it easy for City. Edited May 2, 2019 by psl
muleskinner Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 (edited) Think Klopp will have them well up for it. Fully expecting a big performance again, too much at stake for it not to happen. Edited May 2, 2019 by muleskinner
McBain Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Huge ask for our players. St James on a Sat night will be bang up for it, Rafa will have a plan to frustrate and our players will be knackered and very possibly dispirited. Just have to keep going. Can't make it easy for City.I think the lights and intensity of the crowd will be a huge help to us
Hassony Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Good that Perez and Almiron are out for this Need Rondon to pick something up before Saturday
Bogman Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Players have minimum 3 games left. They will be pumped for this.
Hassony Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Play like they did yesterday and Newcastle are getting thumped
Dan Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Think we'll batter em. Players should be feeling angry not despondent.
Andy-oh-six Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Think we'll batter em. Players should be feeling angry not despondent.Hopefully so. Last night is a huge kick in the teeth but hopefully they can channel it properly.
Jarg Armani Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 I can imagine our heads going down if this doesn’t start well. Last night was a real sickener. Early goal for Newcastle like Southampton got and it’s a big ask to go to the well again.
Barnesy_10 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 This game can't come soon enough.i know... hate the wait
stressederic Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Wonder if we'll see Oxlade-Chamberlain start this one. He was important in our home game against Newcastle last season.
muleskinner Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Wonder if we'll see Oxlade-Chamberlain start this one. He was important in our home game against Newcastle last season.Think you might be right.
Swipe Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 I think we’ll murder them. Yeah I think we'll be bang up for it and if we score early I think we could hammer them.
Des Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 If we're even 70% of the level we were at last night, we'll batter them.
chiliking Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 I have no belief in hammering a Benitez team. It'll be a teeth-gnashing, slowgrinding, hard work, excruciating fixture
Leroy Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Bit of help guys. I'm in Paphos Cyprus from Saturday, as its 3hrs ahead. Hopefully there'll be a sports bar showing our next 2 games that late.
