cocknose Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 This one comes around quick. I think we will and should see a return to the 4-2-3-1 which has served us well in controlling games earlier in the season. Reckon it could be Allison Trent Matip VVD Roberston Fabinho Henderson Shaqiri Firmino Mane Salah This is the biggest hurdle left in my opinion.

Conrad Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 I’d like to see Fabinho in for Milner and maybe lallana in as well

Earl Hafler Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Fabinho and then two from Hendo, Lallana and Gini. Lallana is alright as a midfield presser and should be fitter than Milner.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Banana skin this one. They have a 5pt cushion over the relegation spots so will be scrapping for everything - another 5 points realistically makes them safe. Their form is reasonable - 3 wins in 10 games (league) - 3 in their last 6 albeit Brighton, Spurs & Fulham. They also went close away at Old Trafford Defo start Fabinho - he has to start every game now
oakie bob Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 all our away games are potential slip up's. Keep it tight, get the win, move on
Leo No.8 Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 If we win the next two, I think we win them all. Imagine if we ended up with 97 points and came 2nd?
Gethin Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 There's a possibility of seeing a Matip / Lovren CB partnership for this if VVD isn't fit....
Jarg Armani Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Absolute clanging chimes of doom written all over this one.

Swipe Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 “I see Sissoko and I know he’s right footed and Son normally finishes these chances so yeah I decide from that.”

They've got a decent set of fixtures after ours as well so plenty of better opportunities to pick up the 5-6 points they'll need to be safe.

stressederic Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 A nice, simple regulation victory would be perfect.
Des Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 (edited) Whose f***in bright idea was it to schedule a game on the south coast for Liverpool on a Friday night? Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 The Premier League/Sky - caring about fans

Weighed all of that up and then once the pass wasn't an option does enough to put Sissoko off the shot
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 watched it again - it's textbook brilliant defending - he moves to block a pass then back to Sissoko, keeps the pass blocked and then as Sissoko has decided to shoot, closes down on him
