Dealing with Tories

How do you deal with Tories witihin a professional capacity? I have worked on projects that have involved engaging with some Tory Councillors (who where actually dead sound for Tories) and also have had exposure to Senior Level Tories .

 

So how do you handle it? Have you been confused as to how to deal with the clear conflict of ideologies and the fact they're Tories? Have you taken them at face value? Do you start trying to turn everything political?
