Gethin Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 10 days without a game seems like an eternity, but it's probably a blessing at the moment Milner's suspended, Gomez is out for another couple of weeks and there's doubts about Fabinho & TAA. Wijnaldum should be fit - so there's a real posibility of seeing Camacho at RB for this one. Game's live on BT Sport in the UK
Rory Fitzgerald Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Would have been nice if they hadn't have been knocked out of the FA Cup by Newport and had a game this weekend.
Hightown Phil Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Fabinho right back, Wijnaldum in the middle with Henderson. Only debate is likely Shaqiri or Keita i suspect.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Schmeichel Pereira Morgan Maguire Chilwell Albrighton* Ndidi Mendy Maddison* Vardy Gray* *Potential for Hamza Choudhury to come into midfield to make it a 3 with one of Albrighton, Maddison or Gray to miss out
Hassony Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 3-1 to us.A clean sheet would be nice after Palace But obviously any win would do
Tobes Rafa Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Have Leicester failed to score away from home yet?
Hassony Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Have Leicester failed to score away from home yet?Lost 1-0 to palace
McBain Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 (edited) Lost 1-0 at Palace Yes Edited January 27, 2019 by McBain
Conrad Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Allison TAA Lovren VVD Robertson Fabinho Wijnaldum Henderson Salah Firmino Mane Or Camacho for TAA
David Hodgson Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 AllisonTAA Lovren VVD RobertsonFabinho Wijnaldum HendersonSalah Firmino Mane Or Camacho for TAAThat's too conservative for a home game. Need one of Keita or Shaqiri in there.
Smith Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Still, Leicester is a good team capable of catching us on the break. I'd prefer conservative in this game.
cymrococh Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Leicester aren’t mugs.They're mug-adjacent.
Ibby Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Their defending in the game against wolves was shocking
D.Boon Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 I'm hoping we do t have to play Camacho next to Lovren
Conrad Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 That's too conservative for a home game. Need one of Keita or Shaqiri in there.Shaqiri has not been as effective starting Keira hasn’t got going at all
Billy Talbot Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Keira hasn’t got going at all I dunno. I've always had a soft spot.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 I just quickly pulled this together from the away game earlier in the season - out of boredom really. No mad observations except to say their better players trend to the left and our injuries are the same side, on our right; Their left: Maguire, Chilwell, Ndidi vsOur Right: Big uncertainty on this side in terms of RB and RCB Their right: Morgan, Pereira, Mendy vsOur Left: VVD, Robertson - Mane or Keita ? Depending on how things go with line ups etc, try play more to attack with Robbo and Mane against their less strong DCM and CB. Also, if there is a counter on that side, they are coming down vs VVD. Leicester have the 6th best record away from home and their away results are better than their home. Apart from the recent 7 goal thriller against Wolves, there has never been more than 3 goals in their games since October - a mixture of 2-1's for & against them and then lower scoring games, that run included games against City Chelsea and Spurs. Could be a tight one.
McBain Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Think we could go 3 at the back, If you've three fit centre backs and no right backs but a talented attacking kid, it makes all kinds of sense from that point of view. I just wouldn't do it because of the left hand side. Andy Robbo is our best outlet and in part because Mane creates the space. If Robbo is all on his own down that side it's surely not gonna be as effective. I'd go Fabinho right back
scoose Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Whoever plays right back needs to be quick. Vardy will pull over to the left to exploit it
D.Boon Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Whoever plays right back needs to be quick. Vardy will pull over to the left to exploit itThis is why I don't want Camacho next to Lovren
