Dan Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 FFS can we please smash these c****. Assuming no injuries from last night AlissonTrentVVDMatipRobboWijnaldumFabinhoKeitaSalahManeFirmino
McBain Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Trent's having a scan on his foot. Big doubt
Conrad Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 (edited) no chance both firmino and keita are starting this. i expect klopp will go with the same starting XI as last night - injuries permitting Edited December 12, 2018 by Conrad
Hassony Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 The combined team that Neville and Carragher came up with is ridiculous
Gethin Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Anywhere good for watching games in London these days?
Hightown Phil Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Alisson, Milner, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Henderson, Keita, Mane, Firmino, Salah I reckon.
Barnesy_10 Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Trent's having a scan on his foot. Big doubtbig loss this if he can't play
Benzo-13 Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 The combined team that Neville and Carragher came up with is ridiculousNo way their keeper or centre backs get near us.
Begbie Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Alisson, Milner, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Henderson, Keita, Mane, Firmino, Salah I reckon. Swap Matip for Lovren and that's what I'd go with Hopefully Trent is ok so we can give Milner a rest. Shaq can feel unlucky to miss out
The_Adder Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Need to be playing Matip, he's playing really well. I'd go with Fabinho, Keita and Shaqiri, but I'd do that every game.
Dan Posted December 12, 2018 Author Posted December 12, 2018 Gini was excellent last night and deserves to keep his place. He's a big game player.

Jim D Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 (edited) You know Mourinho will just sit back and play like he has done on his past two visits to Anfield. Both times we played 4-3-3 and it didn't work because he just suffocates the space 25 yards from goal with players and so nullifies the high press. We're going to need some creativity from midfield if we're going to break down his packed defence. Think we'll go back to 4-2-3-1 for this match and bring in Shaqiri, Salah up top, Bobby dropping deep again. Milner to Right back if Trent is injured. I'd start Keita alongside Gini, Keita could provide that much needed link/drive between midfield and attack. Edited December 12, 2018 by Jim D
Barnesy_10 Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 interesting debate and really is testament to Jurgen's work that we dominate the combined XI Neville himself says he put some mancs in there just so there are some in there, rather than based on credit. Carras response to Neville having Pogba as a holding midfielder is class
Hightown Phil Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Need to be playing Matip, he's playing really well. I'd go with Fabinho, Keita and Shaqiri, but I'd do that every game. He's also out for 6 weeks.
LicK Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Could have done without Matip getting injured two games after Gomez.Chances of Lovren staying fit for 6 weeks?
Leo No.8 Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 I’d guess it’ll be Milner at right back if Trent is out? You’d expect Keita to come back in anyway as this lot will park the bus. We need him to thread a few passes.

We need him to thread a few passes.I'd be a bit worried about Milner being knackered after his recent run of games, but I don't see a good alternative. On the upside, having 2 of our first choice defence and one reserve out, and still being able to field Milner/Lovren/VvD/Robertson isn't the worst place to be. On the downside, one more injury and we're in big trouble.
D.Boon Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Assuming no injuries from last night Good one Dan!
Gethin Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 https://www.whatpub.com/pubs/WLD/16081/spread-eagle-london Cheers - mostly Reds in there? Just don't fancy watching it surrounded by knobheads (big ask in London I know....)
DanM Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 This is the biggest game of United's season so far, they are going to be losing the plot with how much they want to take points off us.
chrisbonnie Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 This is the biggest game of United's season so far, they are going to be losing the plot with how much they want to take points off us. Its their cup final Then throw in the added bonus that we're top of the league, unbeaten, and about 500 points ahead of these useless c****. These f***ers will be chomping to perform on Sunday. It wouldnt shock me if they won. But then went on to lose their next 2 games after it. Its just like we used to do.
