Same starting 11 as the red star game

I'd be playing one or two of the 2nd string defensive players for this.

Need to make sure we keep 1st choice players fresh and 2nd choice players with a bit of game time for when things get hectic in December. If we can't do that at home to Cardiff then when can we?

I don’t want Moreno in any side in any game I give a s**** about. I’d rather play Clyne there or even Milner. He cannot be trusted with anything at any point, ever.

The manager has decided he's our back up left back and given Andy Robbo may not get another chance to rest before the fa cup 3rd round this is the moment

It's the worst team in the league at home and Robertson has played about 15 games already this season. Moreno in is the sensible choice

Clyne is a right back who's played two games in about 18 months. It's all a bit mad this. He's not good enough to start every week, he's got uses in certain situations and this is a certain situation. As I said last week, if he's costing us at home to Cardiff, we've got wider issues than who the second choice left back is.

People can debate the merits of using of Moreno all they want but it looks like he’s firmly in the last resort/late sub/cup game category with klopp now. Thank Christ.

Fully expect Robbo to start again.

I think you play the front 3, is reluctantly play Moreno or plan to sub robbo at 45.

If I play Moreno then also play Milner it Fabinho so you have an extra screen.

Shaqiri has earned another start.

TAA, gomez, Virgil, moreno

Fabinho, Milner

Shaq

Salah, firmino, mane
