Reckon it'll be Fabinho instead of Henderson given he's had 15 mins of pre-season.

Bench should look good apart from centre half though: Karius, Clyne, Phillips, Henderson, Lallana, Shaqiri, Sturridge?

Yeah, I think Fabinho, but I think Hendo will come on. Klopp will want to get him fit enough to start ASAP.

 

Shaq will get a get a go too. As might Studge.

Yeah that all sounds about right to me.

Nah. It's a toss up between a two of Wijnaldum and Milner sitting with Keita in the Ox role or Fabinho sitting and split midfielders which might be Keita and Wijnaldum as per last night

I think that because Henderson has only just come back Fabinho will get the nod but he hasn't looked up to speed yet so i'm not so sure he should. Going forward i'd expect Henderson to play against low block teams that don't pressure the 6 or the midfield in general because Henderson doesn't do well when pressured with the ball. Fabinho looks a lot better when being pressured, he holds the ball and turns better almost resisting the press. Then if he can lay it off / play through that pressure it can lead to a good counter, Henderson has a very good passing range but again, when pressured, especially facing his own goal he usually just plays it straight back to where it came from.

I think these will be a lot better this season so we might be playing them at a good time while they're still bedding in all the new players.

Was watching something yesterday and I think Arnautovic was talking about their style. 'We're going to pass it a lot from back to front'. Can't think of a worse game to do it in for the first time from their point of view than away at us.
