The midtable teams are playing better football and are much more difficult to beat, and there isn't much separating 3rd place from 6th,7th either.

At the end of the day, the best team in England wins the league and are the champions of 2025 any worse than the champions of say 2011 or 1997 or whatever? Seen a load of people suggesting it's a really weak EC this season but at the end of the day you can only beat those in front of you. You can't cherry pick Milan 1995, Barca 2009, Liverpool 1977, Ajax 1972 etc

They'll do all the mental gymnastics in the world to find an excuse to discredit it. We finished with 97 and 92 points with no title, but they still took the p1ss out of us for not winning it. 1

Quite the career that no one would have seen coming when he joined them. Won both the PL and the FA Cup and played in the Champions league quarter finals, all for Leicester.. Pretty mad that!
Cheesecake Posted Thursday at 14:25 Posted Thursday at 14:25 We as a club must be really lucky cos anytime we win a trophy, every other team is either in bad form, past their best, bollixed with injuries or have been robbed by VAR and bad luck. Usually a combination of all of these. or maybe they’re just bitter. 4

There's a few things happening simultaneously, which doesn't suit click bait headline makers and the other c**** for their Bad League narrative
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago these c**** are a cancer on football Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea, the referee for Saturday’s Copa del Rey final between Real Madrid and Barcelona, was brought to tears on Friday, responding to a critical video published by Real’s in-house TV channel Hope they lose and he gives a mad controversial call against them https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/apr/25/copa-del-rey-final-referee-breaks-down-in-wake-of-real-madrid-tv-criticism
Cheesecake Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I reckon the VAR guys threat there can only manifest if no officials show for the match.
growler Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Worst case scenario is Arsenal city Chelsea Newcastle fill the gaps behind us, with Arsenal, United and Chelsea winning in Europe and city winning fa cup. ideal is Arsenal getting caught up in race for top 5, forest, villa, Newcastle, Arsenal fill out 2-5 and no English wins in Europe.
