D.Boon Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Great viewing. That Sommer has been the 2nd best keeper in the CL this season.

Zoob Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Those were 2 amazing games. Don't know about anyone else, but I feel exhausted after watching that. And the save from Sommer near the end there was phenomenal. 1

Thats why Inter struggled containing Barca but its not something that Arsenal can currently replicate, they arent going to change their patterns of play ans take risks and change their mentality to replicate Barca, if they play Inter. Thats why the defending today is not an actual representation of Inters ability because usually they defend well, and there arent many sides who can play like Barca can. Its also why I brought up the previous game, Inter didnt struggle against Arsenal the last time they played like they did in these two games. That doesnt mean that they are going to beat them for sure, but Arsenal arent this untouchable side that Inter cant crack on their day Inter also have pretty much the same side from their last CL final, that experience will count for something as well (same as it did for us in 2019) Edited 11 hours ago by YugoB

They beat Arsenal last Nov 1-0 courtesy of a penalty. Arsenal were missing Rice (their best player by a mile this season) and Odegaard came on as a late sub after 12 weeks out injured. They were also denied a pretty clear pen. It it was 7 months ago. Means little. Moreover I just want Arsenal out so I can watch the final in peace

They were also denied a pretty clear pen. It it was 7 months ago. Means little. Moreover I just want Arsenal out so I can watch the final in peace Expand Being awful defensively twice in a week doesn't mean that's a reflection of their overall ability and what they've produced this season. They've kept 9 cleansheets out of 12 matches in Europe? So clearly they aren't a s*** side defensively. As I said, their problem defensively is a direct outcome of how Barca play, and it's not something that Arsenal can produce, whilst they could beat Inter, just because Barca did what they did, doesn't mean that Arsenal will, they play football entirely differently. To your point about Arsenal not playing with Rice and Odeegard, they did however have all their attacking players, and Inter rotated their side in that match. barella, bastoni, dimarco, thuram, acerbi didn't start. Do penalty goals not count or something? Inter hit the bar within the first five minutes of the game. Arsenal's lack of penalty is debatable. The point again as I said, Arsenal aren't a side without flaws, and a side that Inter can't beat, clearly they have, thats why I brought it up. 1

Conrad Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Thuram doing the sort of things we paid £80m for Nunez to do last night. I dont think Thuram is anything special but he uses his body and strength and pace to cause defenders problems. Controls the ball, wins challenges, beats people Yamal is another planet though. What a player, him and Pedri were a joy to watch
