Is the FA CUP becoming obsolete?

Sheffield United are playing Cardiff and the ground is basically empty.

Why not charge a nominal ticket fee and get some sort of atmosphere?

So why not give tickets away, or charge a quid. 

Agree about the Thursday night thing. 

At least Everton had 38,000 show up. Maybe just the PL games on Thursdays?
