No chance Steven Gerrard is going to hit anything from distance if he has indeed hurt his leg. The best Liverpool can hope for is scrappy close-range finish in my opinion.

I think Pepe gets a rough deal a bit for that game. The one he tipped onto the post is one of the best I've ever seen and don't think he stood much chance with the Konchesky one.

My wife was 8 months pregnant at the time. She was upstairs having a bath. I screamed so much when Gerrard scored at the death that she thought someone had entered the house and attacked me.

I was driving there and back that day. I got back home that night went to a party after dropping Wayne off. I stayed for 5 mins at the party as I realised I was physically and mentally shattered.
