This is interesting. BBC moving several departments to Salford hasn't been the rip-roaring success it was designed to be, Media City is just a bit dead and not many of the London-based execs work there with any enthusiasm.

 

Channel 4 to Liverpool could be interesting, though. A central location in a small but vibrant and culturally rich city that is already investing in new media start ups is a very attractive proposition. For me, anyway.
