Dominus Maximus Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 (edited) So ... Karius Trent - Matip - Van Dijk - Robertson Chamberlain - Can - Milner Salah - Firmino - Mane Apart from Mendy they have everyone available, even Kompany. Head 2 head - Klopp 6 wins (one of them after penalties), Pep 5 wins - 1 draw. We got battered at theirs in the Mane-Ederson game and we beat them 4-3 at home. So yeah. Anyone else both terrified and excited at the same time? Edited April 1, 2018 by NabyKeita2018
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Guardiola - City will focus on Liverpool game over United one. NO, really? They can afford to lose 5 of their last 7 and still win the league. Battle of the North? What the f*** is that?
Dominus Maximus Posted April 1, 2018 Author Posted April 1, 2018 (edited) As posted the other thread, (here) Pep's been to Argentina where he happened to meat an old bloke who's know to be one of the great tacticians in football. So clearly he's worried and have enlisted all the help he can get. Jürgen's football is not normal. PS: The bloke thinks that Guardiola is the Che Guevara of football. https://www.sport-english.com/en/news/barca/my-meeting-with-pep-guardiola--cesar-luis-menotti-6717615 Battle of the North? kop205 Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Sorry, kid is sleeping and I was bored. I hope he/she wakes up soon.
Nathan Explosion Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 For someone worried that their forum credibility was too low, you've gone all in with that 'poster'
Ombudsam Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 This lot could score three past us in the first 10 mins. Tie over.
Hassony Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 This lot could score three past us in the first 10 mins. Tie over. And so could we They've lost twice this season already in the CL, we're undefeated
Molby Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 (edited) Think we’ll get done, although I’m gonna do almost everything I can to stop it happening Looking forward to the prematch piss up mindIt’s day 40 off the booze today, which means by Weds I’ll have been off it for a staggering six weeks - not that I’m counting With regard to the game: I think our last game will be better prep than theirsOur approach couldn’t be more different to that of Everton and if Pep wants to try brand new tactics following his chat with Menotti then great (I don’t think he does btw) And Trent: no mas por favor, ta not that we’ll see long balls Edited April 1, 2018 by Molby
Ombudsam Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 And so could we They've lost twice this season already in the CL, we're undefeatedYeah but we’re normally the only team on the pitch that can do that. It gives me the s***s playing another team that can and are more likely to.
Dominus Maximus Posted April 1, 2018 Author Posted April 1, 2018 That opening post will cost us this tie. That would be insane
Molby Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 That would be insaneJust redo it thenImprove the strapline and make the headings in to links
Bootle Buck Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Ideally need a 2-0 first leg lead, but it's hard to see them not scoring at Anfield. Then again I can't see us not scoring at their place. This tie has the tension of the Chelsea SF in 2005 with two teams that score freely.

kop205 Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Whatever you call it the effect is the same and it is exactly how Sane scored in the league game here when Gomez sold himself.
Molby Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 The situation I’m referring to is a long ball inside the full back that a player initially wide of the full back or in line with him collects inside Apart from long balls, City have been playing balls inside the full back for a few years, showing that multiple threats exist
Dominus Maximus Posted April 1, 2018 Author Posted April 1, 2018 The way Trent is playing any ball is a danger ball.

Walrus Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Trent A. Arnold I mean what and how made you... just wow.
Gethin Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 I quite like the poster I think he's a f***ing oddball. Oh.....
Case Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Hadn't realised they played Laporte at LB yesterday. Of course, they could have played Christopher Biggins at LB against that shower of s***e. Also played Sterling inside to practice keeping him away from Robertson. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/apr/01/manchester-city-pep-guardiola-everton-liverpool-mohamed-salah-title
