Got a spreadsheet I use to keep track of our occupancy rates etc at the B&B. There's a data tab that's got occupancy by room by day, then a summary tab that gives me All Time, Annual, Monthly & Weekly totals mainly using SUMIF/COUNTIF on stuff in the data tab

 

I want to do a "Year to date" comparison. 2018 is easy 'cos I just say "give me all of the data for 2018".

 

For previous years, how do I phrase selection criteria within a SUMIF to say give me everything from year X where the month & date are equal to or less than today's month/date?
