So I share my mate's season tickets (they're in his name) and I now can't get up to the game tomorrow.

I'm gonna call the club first thing to see if they will print paper tickets for a couple of mates to go instead. What are the odds on the ticket office helping me out?

My mate can't get down there tomorrow as he has his kids all day.

They were fine with stuff this earlier in the season - but they are currently having a real clampdown on ST holders letting others use their ticket. Get on to them early enough and you should be ok.

I definitely wouldn't mention the whole 'shared' thing. If you phone, then you'd best pretend to be him. They're on the case of the sharers.

Cheers, yeah i’m gonna pretend to be him, hopefully got all the relevant details.

Ticket office isn’t currently open, despite the website saying it is. Hmm.

Is that because it's a late KO?

How did this work Stanley? My ST seems to be lost in the post and might not arrive in time for Saturday. I sent it out to somebody who bought the Watford game off me - is there some way I can get him a paper ticket instead?

There seem to be a lot of 'tickets going missing in the post' recently.

Always always pay the £1.75 to send recorded. £1.66 for 2nd class recorded.

If you have Dan well then that's just c**** trick on behalf of the royal mail.

Sorry, just seen this. I called up, gave the ST details (name, number, home address, phone number, d.o.b.), then the details of the person needing the paper ticket (full name, address) and they printed them off for collection. V straightforward.
