Inter Milan European Cup Semi Final away leg in 1965. That game was truly bent. One goal was scored from an indirect free kick, another was kicked out of the goalkeeper hands. I believe Tommy Smith kicked the referee at the end of the game. Very likely we would've been the first British team to win the European Cup.

All the good ones have gone (and the Smith '89 one is clearly the right answer) but I'd go for the tackle by Eto'o in 13/14 away at Chelsea. He gets sent off for it, we score immediately afterwards and win that match. Gives us the extra points we'd need to mitigate the game we never speak about and we wouldn't need to go recklessly all out versus Palace. As a result; we win the league.
