D.Boon Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 Ever since we had our shower installed about 10 years ago we have suffered with a leaking shower tray. I've resealed it a number of times but it eventually comes back. Our freshly plastered and painted ceiling is showing staining and just lifted the floorboards to discover the joist underneath the tray is wet to the point of crumbling in places. The lathe and plaster ceiling below it looks shot and it's right next to a lathe and laster stud wall which may have e the same problem. In other words it sounds f***ing expensive to fix. Insurance policy excludes a gradually operating cause so is it a waste of time even going down that route?
